We’re home this weekend enjoying a small break before our month of travel begins. We’ll be heading out to San Diego a week from tomorrow for the US College of American Pathologists meeting as part of the Fox’s day job. Then the following week we are attending ToyFest West here in town followed by Furry Weekend Atlanta the next weekend. We round the month off at Biggest Little Fur Con in Reno. At least in April we’ll have a weekend home before Motor City Fur Con!

We’re still having issues with the large format printer, but have a work around until it’s resolved. Our book printing company also does large format prints. The paper is a little thicker and requires a larger tube. At this time we’re keeping the prices the same as we expect to get our printer back up and running (or replaced) soon. Then the Fox can repaint the warehouse floor to cover up the large patch of magenta on the floor, or as we call it, his shame.

At this time all orders that have been placed have shipped, except one waiting on print-on-demand Circles shirts. We have a couple of open back orders from a few suppliers, but don’t have an ETA on when those books will be available as our supplier is in the process of moving printer. We’ll keep updating you as we get more information.

If an item has This item is currently sold out but available for order under its title in the directory list chances are we will be able to obtain additional stock within four to six weeks. We will typically ship all in stock merchandise within forty-eight hours of you placing your order*. We will not charge your payment card for backordered items until those items have shipped.

Knot Shy by Sunitai Reij

Knot shy is a combination of the two comics Knot U and Shower Shy. Both Comics are made and illustrated by Sunitai Reij and feature Ziggy Husky as the main Character. KNOT U is a story based in a world where A university’s main reason for existing is for the teaching of sexual education when it comes to understanding the primal and sometimes uncontrollable urges of the youth and to keep them from hurting themselves or others. Shower Shy is a comic about exploring how much sexyness can inadvertanly happen in a locker room when you least expect it to, but it leads to one hell of a ride in the end.

With the help of Ardel and some heavy drinking a second book as emerged! In this volume we follow Bastien, a cocky french rabbit who had a recent death in the family. He soon finds out that his uncle has left him a large sum of money but could only be given to him if he spends three nights in his mansion. About Sarin Barneby and the King’s Gambit:

Sarin Barneby is a fox of many talents. He has a brilliant deductive mind, a quick paw and charm enough for twenty. He uses these considerable gifts almost daily to further his wealth and social status. But sometimes it isn’t all about the gold and shiny trinkets.

When a stranger comes into the city to try and show up our fox, Sarin takes him on and poses a bit of a challenge. First one to claim the legendary Crown Jewels wins — the prize is in the jewels, of course, and in the bragging rights.

About Alflor Aalto:

As far as a top ten list for this week – it would be all My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic - we had several people place orders for multiple copies of each title, skewing the results for the week. My guess is that with Season four of the show drawing to a close the fans want to stock up on the comics to get them through the downtime between season four and season five.

The year continues to be busy for the staff of Rabbit Valley Comics. We just finished a day job event and now are enjoying some time with friends in town for ESG. Our current plan is to drive out to Albuquerque next week on our days off from the day jobs. Then Califur… The back to town to get ready for the summer convention season including Anthrocon, The Maltese Fur Con, and Rocky Mountain Fur Con.

Speaking of conventions and stuff, the fox has acquired an old drivers license creation kit. Anyone at ESG this weekend want to take some time out of the con and pick up a FurSuit ID? The fox would be willing to bring the setup to the Palms if you had some space. You can contact him on Twitter @rifkafox.

We will also be bringing the setup to CaliFur and RMFC. All the data points (text) can be changed. For the conventions we’ll most likely bring a printer with us so we can make the changes on the fly. We’re still working out the details. Price per ID will be $20.00 same as some states charge for a state issued Photo ID. Instead of Rabbit Valley® Comics on the top bar, it will be the initials of the event produced and year… ESG 2014 for this weekend… Color bar will change depending on the fox’s whim.

It’s been a rightful busy week picking and packing orders, getting inventory ready for CaliFur, cleaning the warehouse to find the inventory for CaliFur, cleaning and brushing fur suits, and picking orders. (Did I mention the picking of the orders?).

We have earmarked an additional hundred and eight pounds of slow-moving inventory for our Buy It By The Box – Help Clear The Warehouse promotional item. This includes novels, comics, shirts, toys, figures, and more (one lucky critter might even end up with printer toner). Seriously cool stuff at a fraction of the price. We’ve been running a Buy It By The Box/Pound – Help Clear The Warehouse promotion since before we moved to Las Vegas in 2009. We’ve been able to make room on the shelves for many new projects because of your want to take a chance. Thanks for all those who have ever ordered one of these items.

Speaking of Buy It By The Box – Help Clear The Warehouse items, we’ll again have some at CaliFur. The Chief Bunny’s infamous piles will make an appearance for a limited time and while supplies last.

We’ve lots going on at CaliFur, one of the things we are considering is FurSuit Badges by appointment. If you would like one of the below, kindly email whitefox@rabbitvalley.com for pricing ($15 each, $25 for 2 of the same ID), open time slots, and data card information. We’ll be closing full customs Tuesday before CaliFur, any on-site IDs will use standard information. (We’ll also do these for plush animals.)

If you are not attending CaliFur and want one of these FurSuit IDs, email the fox anyway and he’ll let you know the skinny. The IDs are being made with an old Polaroid ID-4 Driver’s License making system.

We’ve seen a spike in digital sales – and that’s to be expected, we have over a hundred digital items for sale and over two hundred digital items customer download over 5000 purchases. The numbers are only going to grow! Just want to remind you that we are not Amazon, Apple, or Google Play, we use a post payment process to validate purchases. What this means is after purchasing digital items, we will confirm your payment within 24 to 48 hours unless otherwise stated on the home page due to travel. Orders placed during conventions or away periods as noted on our Conventions Page or Home Page add two days to the turn around time. Times compiled over the last three years of shipments.

Turn Around Time (Time from order being placed until order being shipped):

• BackOrdered Books – 2-4 Weeks Due To Supplier Bottlenecks
• Prints 8.5 x 11 – 22 Hours
• Prints All Other Sizes – 3-5 Days depending on day ordered
• Portfolios – 22 Hours
